London, UK – 13/10/2025: - ADVANZ PHARMA Holdco Limited (“ADVANZ PHARMA” or “the Company”), a UK headquartered global pharmaceutical company with a strategic focus on speciality, hospital, and rare disease medicines, today announced the expansion of its specialty and rare disease brands portfolio with the acquisition of global rights to Zavesca® from Actelion Pharmaceuticals Ltd, a Johnson & Johnson company. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in Q4 2025.
Zavesca® is a prescription medication used to treat mild/moderate type 1 Gaucher disease in adult patients, and to manage certain symptoms of Niemann-Pick type-C disease in patients of all ages. Both diseases are rare, inherited conditions.**
